Make your next meal with a side of this delicious rice alternative made with grains of brown rice, red lentil, and quinoa. Enjoy this rice replacement just as you would with regular rice.
Rinse 1 cup of blend in cold water and strain
Combined 1c washed blend with 2 cups water (or favorite broth for more flavor) in a medium sauce pan. Optionally add 1 Tbsp butter
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat to Low/Simmer and cover tightly with a lid. Cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5-10 minutes with lid.
Drain off excess water if needed. Season and enjoy.
Ingredients: Parboiled Long Grain Brown Rice (Usa), Red Whole Lentils (Canada), Quinoa (Peru).
