For great tasting coffee add one tablespoon of ground coffee for every six ounces of cool water. If you like your coffee stronger, add a little more coffee or a little less water. The smoothest coffee comes when you grind coffee slightly coarser and use a larger portion of grounds. Drink coffee right away or keep your coffee fresh in an insulated carafe or thermos. Coffee can stay fresh in a quality thermos up to three hours.
