Howdy, Texas! Martie has arrived...in more ways than 1! First off, we are so excited to announce that we have expanded our shipping territory to include the great state of Texas. Starting today, we've taken down the digital barriers and everyone from Amarillo to Corpus Christi, and everywhere in between, can now be a Smartie Shopper!
Saving Texans up to 70% on their groceries is a big goal for us, and we couldn't be prouder of this achievement. No subscriptions, no commitments, just savings!
Now for our second proud moment...we've moved our distribution warehouse to Dallas, Texas! Right smack dab in the middle of the state. We've expanded our size to over 40,000sq ft of delicious deals! Watch out world - we're here to save money and save great food. Plus, moving our warehouse to Dallas is a strategic move, for us to more easily be able to ship nationwide. We're working on it, we're working on it.
NEXT UP! We are incredibly proud to kick off our partnership with the North Texas Food Bank.
The North Texas Food Bank is a certified member of and the eighth largest organization in the Feeding America Food Bank Network. Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, solicits food and grocery products from national suppliers, distributes them through more than 200 food banks and provides food banks with operational support. It also educates the public and government officials about the ongoing problem of hunger.
At Martie, we're on a mission to fight food waste and make good food accessible to more people, by solving how we distribute food. Our partnership with NTFB allows for us to have even more of an impact, first by working with one of their feeding partners, Covenant Purpose and Restoration Family Center - who works tirelessly to stomp out hunger and tackle food insecurity.
